Measure the room you have
Walk spots with the phone: kitchen window, hallway, that shelf you swore was bright. The meter reports what the place actually does.
Save the plant to that spot in your plant collection so you are not re-guessing next season.
A room changes with curtains and seasons. Measure again when a plant stretches or scorches.
Match light to the species
The catalog says what the plant wanted; the meter says what the shelf delivers. Put those next to each other before the internodes get long.
After plant identification, check the corner before you commit. A correct name does not fix a dark bathroom.

A phone meter is a guide, not a PAR sensor from a grow tent. It is enough to stop putting a cactus in a windowless bath.
